ABOUT US

Just a thrift store with a great cause!

Here at Blind Community Thrift Store, we are driven to help the blind community thrive in todays world. Adaptive technology is expensive, and as you can imagine hard to learn how to use when you don't have sight. Through our partnerships with other organizations we are able to help in numerous ways just by accepting donations and selling items in our thrift store. The Blind Community Thrift Store works with groups like TAVIM, Red Cross, OACAC, Victory Mission, and more to provide clothing vouchers, food drives, and monetary contributions to help the Springfield Community as well as the blind of Missouri.

ADAPTIVE TECHNOLOGY

Help the Blind

Working with TAVIM (Technology Association for Visually Impaired Missourians) we hope to help bring blind Missourians into the 21st century. Adaptive Technology is expensive and hard to learn. TAVIM works with those individuals to help them get equipment and train those individuals to use that adaptive technology.
