HOW TO DONATE

Thank you for considering us for your donations. Our donation hours are 9AM-5PM Monday - Saturday in the warehouse to allow our staff time to cleanup before the store closes at 6PM.  You can drop off larger items at the back door of the thrift store. Just pull around through Walmart's parking lot to the back of the Town and Country Shopping Center. Look for our green doors and ring the doorbell for help unloading and to inform us that you are dropping items off. See the donations Accepted Tab for more information on what we do and do not accept.

Thank you for your donations! All proceeds go to assist the blind of Missouri.

WELCOME TO THE BLIND COMMUNITY THRIFT STORE

Help the Blind - Help the Community

At the Blind Community Thrift Store we’re raising funds and promoting initiatives to serve the blind and visually impaired while also helping the local community around Springfield, MO. Our goal is to provide visually impaired individuals with adaptive technology. This adaptive technology is expensive and crucial to allow those with visual impairments to maintain a normal life style and be successful in their careers. The Blind Community Thrift Store is a 501c3 non profit, and all proceeds go to helping those in need of assistance. Your donations and purchases help us provide individuals with costly adaptive tech that otherwise would not be possible for those individuals.

We are located at 2713 N. Kansas Expressway open 9AM-6PM Monday - Saturday.
